Lean Green Consulting is a building-energy consultancy run by me, Es Tresidder. Based in the west Highlands of Scotland, I undertake work for local, national and international clients. I have over ten years of experience in low-energy buildings and consultancy throughout the UK and Europe. My PhD and MSc theses were on the optimisation of low-energy building designs using genetic algorithms. I’m a certified Passivhaus designer and an AECB Carbonlite retrofit designer. This combination of cutting-edge techniques from academia and industry expertise allows Lean Green Consulting to help their clients design comfortable, healthy buildings that are a pleasure to live or work in with radically lower energy consumption than industry norms. I also teach, and currently run face-to-face and online training worldwide for DesignBuilder in both dynamic simulation and optimisation.
